The Pinktail Triggerfish has a handsome emerald-green bodMelichthys vidua , Pinktail Triggerfishy and a bright pink tail. Yellow accents the body at the face and pectoral fins with darker flecks on the scales.

A 75 gallon or larger aquarium with rocks and caves provides a good environment. With caution, it can be used in a reef tank.

The Pinktail Triggerfish requires meaty foods such as whole shrimp, krill, squid, clams, and small fish.Range: Indo-Pacific
